The first year of the National technical cyber security exercise Cyber Czech 2015, organized by the National Security Authority (NSA) in collaboration with the Institute of Computer Science at Masaryk University in Brno (ICS), will be held from October 6 to October 7, 2015.

The exercise will take place in a special environment of the Cyber polygon on premises of the ICS. The Cyber polygon is the result of research, development and innovation in the "Security Research Programme of the Czech Republic in the years 2010 - 2015 (BV II / 2-VS)".

The exercise itself will be a practical simulation on specially adapted machines aiming to counter cyber-attacks and solve the resulting events and incidents. The intention of this exercise is to practice technical skills and information sharing between teams of trainees. The exercise is based on a prepared scenario reflecting the real incidents and application of the Act no. 181/2014 Sb. about cyber security. The scenario as well as the storyline are entirely fictional and were created in collaboration of the NSA and the ICS. The exercise is only accessible for invited persons.
