The Police Academy of the Czech Republic and the Czech branch of AFCEA released, with active support of the employees of the National Security Authority of the Czech Republic and of the National Centre of Cyber Security and cyber security experts, a second extanded edition of the Cyber Security Dictionary. This second edition also includes English translation of the Czech interpretation of technical terms.

Work on the first Czech explanatory dictionary of cyber security has commenced in 2011 by the members of the cyber security working group of AFCEA, in cooperation with Czech experts on cyber security.

The first official version of the explanatory dictionary of cyber security, under the auspices of the National Security Authority of the Czech Republic and the newly established National Cyber Security Center, was released in May 2012. The dictionary was published by the Czech branch of AFCEA and the Police Academy of the Czech Republic under ISBN 978-80-7251-378-9. In July 2012, also the electronic version of the dictionary in PDF format under ISBN 978-80-7251-377-2 was published.
